Another year...
Now this is strange. But James insisted that if he was going to have to write in one of these journals, so were the rest of us.
So there you go. The reason I'm writing this is because I'm just a wonderful best mate. (Don't even think about denying it, James. You just remember that whole thing with Lily in 6th year.)
Anyway, I really think the first years are insane. All they do is ask question after question. And I don't remember them being this clingy either. One of them clung to James. I was swarmed in the Great Hall by first years that weren't even from the same house.
If this is some sort of payback for changing the passwords to each of the common rooms, then really, was it necessary to send all the first years at once? And shouldn't the other guys have gotten attacked as well? (And no, one clingy first year doesn't count as an attack, Prongs.) Besides, it was last year. Shouldn't they be more worried about what's going to happen this year?
Apparently not.
Or maybe the first years are insane because they actually want to study. The horror. Well, quite a few first years tend to want that and they soon grow out of that. With a bit of help, it'll happen faster.
And why I've just used up basically all of my first entry on first years, I don't know. Maybe it's because nothing has really happened yet. (Now that I've said that though, something's bound to. Bloody hell.)
But the chocolate! Remus gave me chocolate and I'm sure James is cursing him for it. I, however, am praising him for it.
Now, I'm off to try and corrupt as many of the first years as possible.
